This article in today's Chicago Tribune caught my eye. It illustrates perfectly why there is no need to raze the wonderful examples of mid-century modern in Chicagoland. These homes are open, bright and so livable, often sited on gorgeous properties. They require only buyers with some vision and the right people to bring that vision to life. A big round of applause to homeowner Kathy Doyle and architect Steven Suski for their renovation of this Glencoe modernist ranch, and to Shaila Wunderlich for her article.
